Information we collect

The quote and contact forms collect your name, email address, optional phone number and event details solely to respond to your enquiry. Data controller: Charles Azoulay.

Recipients and retention

Messages are delivered through Resend and the site is hosted by Vercel, two providers covered by the Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses. Messages are kept for three years after our last exchange.

Trying the workshop

Choosing a photo, adding a video, cropping and personalising the print all happen in your browser. Media is uploaded only when you request an AI animation or create a shared link. Downloading your print does not create a shared link.

Animating a photo with AI

When this option is enabled, requesting an animation sends the prepared photo to fal.ai to generate a video. This requires your consent and that of the people concerned. The video is an AI creation based on your image; it is not a recording of the event.

The generated video is saved in Ravive's private storage so it remains available in the workshop. Creating a link for loved ones is a separate action. The provider's processing and retention practices are described in the fal.ai service terms.

Creating a shared memory

When you create a link, your prepared photo, any video you have added and the information needed to display the memory are uploaded and stored. Anyone with the link or QR code can open the memory and pass the link on to others.

The link and its QR code provide access for seven days after creation. Access then expires. This does not mean that the files are immediately erased from storage.

Deleting a shared memory

You can delete a shared memory from the browser used to create it, as long as its local data is retained. The link and QR code will then stop opening it. Switching browsers or clearing site data may remove your access to this delete control.

Deleting a link or letting it expire does not remove copies that a recipient has already downloaded.

Your wedding space

The studio stores wedding details, images and guestbook contributions in Vercel's private storage. Media is uploaded when you confirm its addition to the gallery or guestbook. Written, voice and video messages from guests require approval by the photographer or couple before publication.

Three separate access roles allow gallery management, photo selection by the couple, or participation as a guest. Anyone given a link containing its access code can use that access and forward the link. Selection comments and print choices are visible only to the couple and photographer.

A demo gallery is available for thirty days after creation. The photographer can delete it from the studio, revoking its access. Files are cleaned up during new creations after upload permissions have expired; immediate physical deletion on the expiry date is not guaranteed. Downloaded copies remain with their recipients.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction or deletion of your data through the contact form, and contact the French data protection authority, CNIL (cnil.fr).

Storage in your browser

No analytics or advertising cookies are used. The browser remembers that the welcome animation has played. It also keeps information that lets you find and delete shared memories created in this browser and follow an AI animation in progress.

The studio saves your gallery access on this device. A downloadable access file lets you recover it elsewhere; keep it private. A session cookie for each wedding maintains access to its gallery and media. The “Leave this space” button closes that access in the browser.
